In the twenty-first century, the most important challenges facing humanity are food security and climate change, the Conference is going to discuss on many challenges like below
How will we feed our children's children?
Which crops should be grownup and that sacrificed, to feed the billions?
When and the way will we tend to at the same time deliver exaggerated yields and cut back the environmental impact of agriculture?
How will plants contribute to determining the energy crisis and ameliorative international warming?
What new scientific approaches are going to be central to plant biology within the twenty-first Century?
How will we tend to attract the most effective young minds to plant science so that they'll address Grand Challenges facing humanity like temperature change, food security, and fuel replacement?
The Organizing Committee of Plant & Crop Sciences 2020 looks forward to welcoming all the participants across the globe to attend and discuss on above challenges in the "5th World Congress on Plant and Crop Sciences" held during October 05 - 06, 2020 at San Diego, USA.

Research interests include genetic diversity, issues related to germplasm access and benefit sharing, use of morphological and molecular data for variety identification, demonstrating the importance of sustainable use of genetic diversity to improve agricultural productivity, pedigree analysis of crop varieties and intellectual property protection. Responsibilities include technical support to secure Pioneer's intellectual property rights and to demonstrate the important role of plant genetic resources in plant breeding. Dr. Smith serves on intellectual property committees of the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA), the International Seed Federation (ISF), and the Biotechnology Industry Organisation (BIO).
